INTRODUCTION
The first chapter of the business idea began in the spring of 1998, in a small town that looked in that period like taken from a picture of a small bazaar, Targu Neamt, Romania. What was to become a successful company was at first a family business..

ECONOMIC EVENTS
The coffee talks between the small traders revealed stories about overnight rich millionaires.
Only some of them were realistic.

After four years of wanderings, in which he prospected multiple opportunities for trade, the initiator of the company – Mr. Dorin Agavriloae chose one type of product, which represented a niche market, little known and poorly capitalized at the time: industrial equipment.

The industrial valves have emerged in the business story, when in the professional activity of one of Mr. Agavriloae`s friends appeared the need for such products.

The one that was to become the initiator of PETROUZINEX found a profitable niche in this new requirement of the market and began to look for sources of information, to build this beautiful business project.

THE BEGINNING
In 1998, the joint-stock company PETROUZINEX was established, with five family members. The products came from the untouched stocks of the enterprises which were on the point of closing. At first, the products were placed in the family yard, which was supposed to replace a warehouse.

Soon, the stocks were diminishing. The need of permanent supply became more consistent, but the producers market in Romania was collapsing. The production conditions couldn`t manage to meet the requirements on the field because the clients requested more complex and various products every day. This challenge has been the development key for PETROUZINEX.

THE FIRST IMPORTS OF INDUSTRIAL VALVES
In 2003, offer requests were sent to producing companies in Asia and Europe. A visit in Shanghai would have materialized the first international procurement contract. The products were promising a good quality/price ratio and they were achieving the expected standards.

PETROUZINEX attended to fairs and exhibitions organized in Europe. New suppliers of equipment were identified and new trade relations were developed with European producers.

THE SECRET OF THE BUSINESS
The client companies could not afford to wait for the industrial products they needed, for long periods of time. PETROUZINEX rented a storage space and created a buffer stock, in order to be able to provide the needed products in a very short time. Thus, the projects that our customers have managed, would have been made at the proper term.

It didn`t took a long time until PETROUZINEX built its own warehouse for the products and the offices for our team. These spaces have been extended in several stages and have been taking the form of what is today PETROUZINEX deposit:

Land area: 11000 sq. ft.
Close storage space: 2500 sq. ft.
Offices area: 600 sq. ft.

THE SUCCESS ON THE MARKET
The secret of the available stocks inspired, in the coming years, other distributors too. From that moment, it evolved some competition in this specific market.
In the context of the increasing number of providers, PETROUZINEX maintained its market position and evolved, always being one step ahead of change.

In March this year, PETROUZINEX celebrates 19 years from its foundation. Moving from one stage to another and keeping the concept of fairness in the relations with its partners, our company became the most trusted name in this field, in Romania. Honesty in business it has always been the element that guaranteed our success on the market, in time.

FUTURE GOALS
PETROUZINEX develops continuously in order to offer new solutions in the industrial field. We will extend the range of our products, adding constantly new equipments on the Romanian market, such as pipe from various materials (steel, PVC, HDPE) and related products required for fluid networks.

We also develop complementary services. We make the necessary arrangements to ensure full repair and maintenance for the equipments we commercialize.

The market allows a continuous development in the field in which we operate. We intend to rise to the maximum level internally and develop the current trade relations internationally.
